Mandatory Universal Background Checks

If mandatory universal background checks become a reality in Montana, how will Montana residents continue to legally perform private firearms transactions?

We will likely be required to go through our Montana Gun Dealers unless citizens are somehow given registered access to the NCIC background check system.

This will significantly impact firearms collectors around the country and in Montana.

Semi-Automatics VS Machine Guns!

Semi-automatics are often demonized by media sources for no reason other than an ignorance of or misunderstanding of basic firearms form & function.

Montana likely has a good grip on this subject. In case you need a refresher or need information to share with a friend, this classic video helps to clearly describe the difference between semi-auto firearms and fully automatic firearms or “machine guns” as some may refer to which are used by the military and law enforcement. Machine guns in the United States are regulated by the National Firearms Act.
